In an effort to unite organizations, individuals and agency staff working to protect the watershed, We have formed the "Big Sandy River Basin Coalition Inc. " to help organize what people are doing to protect their watershed. |

Work In The Watershed
Breaks Interstate Park
Volunteers, citizen groups and agencies will be asked to visit streams in their community that feed into the Big Sandy River, Tug Fork, Levisa Fork, Russell Fork and other tributaries to these streams. Participants will be asked to take photographs, measure water quality, inventory aquatic organisms and tell the story of the river along the way.
