Volunteer Monitoring Parameters

The following monitoring activities were recommended by Scientific Advisory Panels participating in the Kentucky Watershed Watch projects.

• Monitoring Regime lists the activity with who will do the analysys. VOL=Volunteer, UofL=University of Lousiville, KGS=Kentucky Geological Survey, DES=Division of Environmental Services.
• Equipment/Cost lists equipment required and cost for the gear. Gear with a * may be provided by the project.
• Training Column is how much training time is required plus the amount of time it will take the volunteer to do the test in the field. Travel time is not included in the estimate.
• Cost/sample indicates the variable cost for each sample per site done.
• The Vote Column Please indicate your willingness to help in doing the tests for the parameter by choosing 1-3 with 1 being least important and 3 being most important. There is a Zero value if you don't like the parameter at all. We will use this "survey" to get an idea of who will help us with what tests
